Table Metrics Explained
- P (Played): The total number of match fixtures completed by the nation's team within the group stage. A complete round-robin group phase features three matches per squad.
- W (Wins): The count of matches where the team scored more goals than their opponent at the end of the regulation ninety minutes. Each win awards exactly 3 points.
- D (Draws): The count of matches that concluded with equal goals for both sides after ninety minutes of play. Each draw awards exactly 1 point to each team.
- L (Losses): The count of matches in which the team scored fewer goals than their opponent. A loss awards 0 points.
- GF (Goals For): The cumulative number of goals successfully scored by a team across all completed matches in their current group phase.
- GA (Goals Against): The cumulative number of goals conceded by a team's defense during all group stage fixtures.
- GD (Goal Difference): Calculated directly as Goals For minus Goals Against (GF - GA). Goal difference serves as the primary tiebreaker element in the group tables when teams are level on points.
- PTS (Points): The cumulative total points accumulated by a team (calculated as
(Wins × 3) + (Draws × 1)). Teams are ranked in descending order of points.
